Museum Collections
The South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum’s collection contains 3D objects like tractors and implements, household furnishings, architectural features, clothing and other textiles, small tools relating to animal husbandry and crop production, toys and books.
Two-dimensional archival collections include maps and atlases, prints from Harper’s Weekly and Leslies’ Illustrated, agricultural magazines and encyclopedias, the Beckman Archive, tractor and machinery manuals and the Photograph and Postcard Archive.
The museum’s collection also includes a collection of material related to the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
The South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum's Large Artifact Collection includes restored machinery and pieces in their original condition. From rare artifacts such as the Dakota Tractor to large clover hullers and the beautifully restored Case 65 hp steam engine, the large pieces help tell the story of South Dakota Agriculture.
