Cottonwood Field Station Field Day

  • Philip, South Dakota
  • June 12, 9 a.m.-noon
  • Tour the updated facilities and learn about precision livestock technology among other topics.

Dakota Lakes Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Farm Field Day

  • Pierre, South Dakota
  • June 26, 3 p.m.-dusk
  • Hear about research being conducted on more than a dozen crops and the farm’s long-standing research on conservation practices.

Southeast Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Farm Grain and Horticulture Crops Field Day

  • Beresford, South Dakota
  • July 7, 1:30-8 p.m.
  • From soybeans and corn to potatoes and peas, this field day will cover a wide range of crops.

Oak Lake Field Station Field Day

  • Astoria, South Dakota
  • July 9, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Learn about preserving native prairie and conservation practices being implemented across the state.

Northeast Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Farm Field Day

  • South Shore, South Dakota
  • July 9, 4 p.m.-dusk
  • This area of the state has unique growing conditions, which is why the research conducted there is so important to local farmers.

West River Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Farm Field Day

  • Sturgis, South Dakota
  • Sept. 9, 3-7 p.m.
  • Virtual fencing technology, stocking rate research and more will be covered at this field day.
