Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Sensor Education in K-14 Agriculture and STEM

Focus

  • Train students in agricultural robotics to revolutionize precision agriculture with deep learning, machine vision and cybersecurity.
  • Participants will be trained to develop and utilize cost-effective microscopic image processing, robot designing and virtual reality for sustainable agriculture.

Eligibility

  • Two years of postsecondary school (e.g., vocational technical institutions or community or junior colleges).

Program Highlights

  • Safety and ethics training.
  • Hands-on project on the development of a smartphone-based microscope for crop scouting, utilization of drones for real-time agriculture applications and deep learning for real-time food quality control.
  • Science communication workshops.
  • Training and mentorship.
