This is the Year of the Fire Horse, according to the Chinese zodiac, which means it’s the perfect time for the 2026 Harding Distinguished Lecture. Archeologist and author William Taylor will present “Horses and the Human Story in South Dakota and the American West: New Perspectives from the Ancient World.”

Ģ����ý’s University Chamber Music Series continues its 2025-26 season with a special performance by the internationally acclaimed wind quintet Imani Winds at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in the Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

This Saturday, the Ģ����ý Department of Animal Science is partnering with the SDSU Athletics to host the 54th annual SDSU Pork Classic.

Ģ����ý Theatre and Dance’s fall 2025 musical production of “Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story” has been selected to be presented at the 58th annual Region 5 American College Theater Festival Conference in Rochester, Minnesota, on Jan. 20. To help defray the costs of taking the production to Rochester, a one-night-only fundraising performance of the show will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Fishback Studio Theatre in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the SDSU campus.
