University Apartments

University apartment rates are for individual tenants. Rates are billed per month to the preferred payment method set up in the leasing agreement.

704 12th Ave. Apartments

Three-Bedroom Units (partially furnished): $535

This price includes water, electric, sewer and garbage.

Southeast University Neighborhood

One-Bedroom Units: $1,040

Two-Bedroom Units: $802

Three-Bedroom Units: $705

This price includes internet, water, electric, sewer and garbage.

Sundahl Apartments

Studio Units: $454

Meal Plans Cost

Students living in on-campus housing are required to have a meal plan. Meal plans are billed per semester to the student's university billing account.

As part of a student's meal plan, leftover flex dollars carry over from the first semester of an academic year to the second semester of an academic year. Leftover block meals do not carry over from first semester to second semester.

All unused meal plan funds, flex dollars and block meals, do not carry over from one academic year to the next.

Premier Plan
Cost: $2,432

This plan includes:

  • Unlimited meals at Larson Commons
  • $175 in flex dollars and eight guest passes
140 Block Plan
Cost: $1,884

This plan includes:

  • 100 meals at Larson Commons
  • $750 in flex dollars and five guest passes
90 Block Plan
Cost: $1,884

This plan includes:

  • 50 meals at Larson Commons
  • $1,150 in flex dollars and five guest passes
Silver Flex Plan
Cost: $1,884

This plan includes:

  • $1,884 in flex dollars
Bronze Flex Plan
Cost: $1,720

This plan includes:

  • $1,720 in flex dollars
West Flex Plan
Cost: $1,000

This plan includes:

  • $1,000 in flex dollars

This plan is only available to upper-division students living in Hansen Hall or the Meadows Apartments.

If you do not select a meal plan, you will be assigned the default plan of 90 Block.

  • All students living on campus are required to have a meal plan. The only exception is if you are a 2024 or earlier high school graduate and live in Meadows Apartments.
  • If you are a 2026 high school graduate, you can only choose a Block Meal Plan.
  • If you are a 2025 high school graduate or higher and select a West Flex Meal Plan, we will default you to the Bronze Flex Meal Plan as 2025 and up are not eligible for the West Flex Plan.

The last day to change your fall 2026 meal plan option is Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at 5 p.m.

Meal Plan Exemption Policy

The policy for the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Housing and Residential Life Meal Plan Exemption/Accommodation Guidelines and Process are established for students requesting an exemption from the SDSU Meal Plan program. The Meal Plan Exemption Policy covers meal plans for all students required to purchase a meal plan.
